Belongs to the family of Sharif's Pakistan [7] She is the granddaughter
of the industrialist Muhammad Sharif, the daughter of Nawaz Sharif and
the niece of Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif. She is married to Captain Muhammad Safdar. And the couple has three childrens. Maryam has two brothers, Hassan and Hussain and a sister Asma who are not politically active Also she has three childrens. Her
cousin, Hamza Shahbaz Sharif is a member of the National Assembly. [8]
